…not that I was actually hiding or anything.
I’ve just been BUSY!
Trying to absorb life in each moment…in each day.
Moving into my first place, sans roommates, with the help of a “Peculiar Helper.”
Falling more and more in love with my cozy box-of-an-apartment with each passing day.
Adjusting to a new job that often causes me to feel inadequate and stressed. And yet, still enjoying it.
Arguing with friends and processing the hurtful words exchanged between myself and them. Looking forward to the growth that will likely result.
Mentally preparing myself for the graduate courses I will be taking in the fall.
Thanking God that I have no weddings to attend this summer.
Wondering what my best friend’s baby will look like, besides the obvious — cute and white and loved.
Tweeting nonsensical things. And apparently, blogging nonsensical things as well.
Thinking more than usual, which probably seems impossible. But trust me, it is.
Listening to Ingrid Michaelson, 24/7.
Singing songs to Jesus in familiar places, with familiar people. In awe that familiarity has been such a rare commodity in my life these days.
Where have you been hiding these days?

Glad to hear you’re in the new place! And I second thanking goodness for no weddings this summer. I am wedding-free!

The busier life gets, the most interesting things we have to write about, but we’re too busy to write. Such a conundrum.

Also been hiding in my box. Getting in trouble with the campus police for my unique traffic decisions. Arguing with my sister and then making up with ice tea. Contemplating big decisions for the next few years and trying to remember how young I actually am. Drinking too much coffee and enjoying bouncing off the walls and rearranging furniture every… See More so often. Wondering when I will get to come bother you again – which will likely be soon since my sister starts at Pitt in the fall and my mom is moving back home to Pittsburgh as well!! Behave chicka! (or be like me, and don’t
also fun!)
